The goal of the Dunn PAL & Friend’s Talent Showcase is to expose Dunn PAL students and others in our community to the power of the arts. The event will feature local and regional musical acts, and all proceeds will be used to support Dunn PAL programs. Together with the Stewart Theater, the showcase will connect Harnett County’s largest performing arts venue with an organization that serves area youth and help ensure everyone can experience live theater and music.
In the early 1960s, some of the most iconic names in the history of popular music were discovered in the Motor City of Detroit, MI. Masters of Soul is a celebration of these artists, their music, and their style. This show features stylishly-costumed and fully-choreographed tributes to both male and female Motown groups backed by a live band.
Masters of Soul performs The Temptations, Gladys Knight & the Pips, Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, The Four Tops, Diana Ross & The Supremes, The Jackson Five, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, Stevie Wonder, The Commodores, and many more.
This project is supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
