Dunn Area Tourism Authority and Stewart Theater Partner to Bring Classic Movies to Downtown Dunn
09/27/22 – Dunn Area Tourism Authority (DATA) and the Stewart Theater have partnered to bring classic movies to Downtown Dunn starting this October. The partnership will bring a classic movie to the big screen each month and run through March 2023.
“The Dunn Area Tourism Authority is pleased to partner with the Stewart Theater in presenting this classic cinema series,” noted Cristy Bullock, Dunn Area Tourism Authority Marketing Director. “We are excited to bring the opportunity to watch some of Hollywood’s biggest hits in the original 1948 theater were some of these films original premiered.”
“We are so excited to have a partner like DATA that sees the value in having a premier entertainment venue in Downtown Dunn, said Teresa Alphin, Chair of the Stewart Theater Revitalization Committee. “Together, we hope to provide a service that our citizens in Harnett County have wanted for quite a while – quality entertainment right next door.”

- October 29 at 7:00PM – Psycho
- November 12 at 7:00PM – Wizard of Oz
- December 17 at 7:00PM – It’s a Wonderful Life
- January 21, 2023 at 7:00PM – Jailhouse Rock
- February 11, 2023 at 7:00PM – Casablanca
- March 18, 2023 at 7:00PM – Giant
